Sielwolf have released numerous albums since 1989, always walking a fine line between harsh industrial expression and later, deeply personal experiments such as dub mutations and dark ambient structures—yet always in their unmistakable style. Over the years, the raw noise gave way to more atmospheric forms, eventually paving the way for the collaboration with Nam Khar.
Now, I am releasing this forgotten material, created during a period marked by disappearance, transition, and inner upheaval. I consider this my sixth Sielwolf record, and I call it “The Lost Tapes.”
It represents the core of my recurring fever dreams—an attempt to process long-standing fears while moving toward new forms of self-determination.
Deformed found voices, damp cellar percussions, fractured drones, mechanical metronomes, church-organ shadows, and distressed sound patterns merge into a nihilistic landscape of moods. These are decaying fragments from a state devoid of inner light.
“Light switch broken — it’s darker than Hell and twice as expensive.” — Charles Bukowski.
For all the drinkers of the heavy liquid.
Sometimes regression is necessary to understand, to survive, to transform.
These recordings are reports from the Zwischenstation — the in-between place where dissolution becomes revelation.
